[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Caucasian House has been implementing the project Ukraine – out of the Crisis through Dialogue since 2014. In the frame of above mentioned project the group of Ukrainian experts visited Georgia on February 2-7.
During the visit the Ukrainian delegation had meetings with the high-level representatives of different state agencies. Among them it should be mentioned the meeting with Paata Zakareishvili, the State Minister for Reconciliation and civic equality,  Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of Georgia’s Prime Minister for relations with Russia and Mariam Valishvili, the Deputy Minister of Energy.
Also official meetings were held at the Parliament of Georgia, at the Ministry of internally displaced persons from the occupied territories, accommodation and refugees of Georgia and at the Ministry of labour, health and social affairs of Georgia. During the visit number of meetings with the representatives of Georgian think-tanks was also organized.
On February 5, the public discussion: Current Situation in Ukraine and the Ways of Conflict De-esacalation  was held in Caucasian House. The speeches were delivered by the Russian and Ukrainian experts. Afterwards the discussion was followed by Q&A session.
The second part of the project, the face-to-face meeting was held in Kvareli, on February 6-7. The Ukrainian experts took part at the forum with their Russian, Georgian and EU counterparts. The main topics discussed at the two-day meeting were the current economical situation in Ukraine, existing realities in Donbass and Crimea, the relationship between Ukraine and Russian and the possible ways for de-escalation. The dialogue between Ukrainian and Russian participants was conducted in the constructive way. The experts highlighted the importance of track 2 diplomacy and underscored the importance of continuation of ongoing dialogue.
